Materials and methods: In the study, we used the statistical data from the reference book of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine for 2017 on the incidence, disability, mortality of the population of Ukraine and the level of the provision of the medical care of the population, namely, the provision of doctors, nurses, and beds in the hospital to determine the human health index and the index of medical provision of the population of Ukraine. Results: The health index, developed by various authors, did not meet the requirements of the WHO and it has not found its application in healthcare practice yet. The Human Health Index (HHI) has been created by us by analogy with the methodology for the calculation of the Human Development Index (HDI). The calculations show that the lower the human health index, the health level of the population should be considered the worst, and the higher it is, the health level should be considered the best. Having calculated the average value of the index 0.603 and 0.117, we found that the average values of the index lie in the range of 0.603 \u00b1 0.117, i.e., from 0.513 to 0.747.Values below 0.513 are considered low, and above 0.747 - high indices of human health. The average group values of the index of the medical provision of the population in the group of regions with a good health of the population were 0.601, with a satisfactory health \u2013 0.515, with unsatisfactory health \u2013 0.562. Analysis of variance showed that these values did not differ significantly from each other (F = 0.56; p&gt; 0.05). Therefore, all groups of the population in the regions with different health levels have approximately the same level of medical care provision. Conclusions: The above results of the analysis using the necessary methods of mathematical statistics are a cause to assert that the proposed integral indices of human health and medical provision of the population, which adequately reflect the reality and simplicity of the application, can be recommended for the use in the practice of medical statistics both at the level of the Ministry of Health and at the level of the WHO. The toxicological examination enables to predict the risk of their adverse effects on the organism with a determination of the prior criteria of hazard.  Objectives: We defined the probable toxic effects and the mechanism of their formation under various conditions of the exposure of the original anti-diabetic drug based on a camphoric acid derivative (Diacamph - DCMPh) under various conditions of its exposure.  Methods: The peculiarities of DCMPh effect on the organism were studied in the acute, sub-acute, and chronic experiments under different conditions of the drug introduction to animals by the indicators characterizing a state of the organism in a whole and the separate organs and systems of the organism and individual organs and systems, including prooxidant- antioxidant and immune systems. Its possible allergenic and mutagenic effects were studied in a separate run of the experiments.  Results: Our studies showed that DCMPh is virtually non-toxic in terms of an acute toxicity, does not accumulate, has no local irritant, mutagenic and allergenic effects, but is capable of the skin resorption. Adverse effect of DCMPh on the organism under its oral and inhalation introduction are realized through the disturbance of the prooxidant-antioxidant balance and cellular components of the immunological resistance. We determined a high sensitivity of lungs to the inhalation impact of DCMPh, taking into account an increase of the free radical oxidation in the organ tissue on the background of the weakening of the antioxidant system and a decrease of the functional reserve of neutrophils manifested in the aftereffect period. The high sensitivity of the lungs to the inhalation effect of DCMPh was determined taking into account the increase in free radical oxidation in the organ tissue on the background of the weakening of the antioxidant system and the decrease in the functional reserve of neutrophils, which manifests itself during the aftereffect period. The place of health in the individual hierarchy of terminal and instrumental values; social guidelines regarding its preservation. Factors affecting health; viability and degree of responsibility for one\u2019s life. The survey was conducted among the adult population of the surveillance zone of the Southern-Ukrainian NPP of the Voznesensk district of the Mykolaiv region. Sociological, socio-psychological, analytical, mathematical research methods are applied.\n\nResults. Guidelines for maintaining health are in full compliance with the chosen component integrity of values-goals and values-means. In the \u0406 group of respondents, where health is the most important thing in life, the main terminal and instrumental value is health. In the \u0406 group, there is uncertainty regarding control over one\u2019s life, which during the war has a negative effect on the general vitality of a person both in the mental and physical dimensions. In the II group, where the main social guideline is the well-being of the family, the main terminal value is a happy family life, and the tools of achievement are health and material wealth. In the III and IV groups, where health is equal to all other spheres of life and is declared as a life without limitations, a person chooses independence and freedom as the main value, and perseverance and hard work as a tool.\n\nConclusions. For the rural population, the value of health is at the same time the main goal in life and a tool for achieving one\u2019s life's goal. For the urban population, the main goal in life is independence, freedom, and as a means - perseverance and hard work. Choice of health value correlates with factors of health concern. The choice of independence and freedom as the goal of one\u2019s existence during the war directly affects the formation of vitality and is a combination of a change of consciousness and concentration of life resources. The peculiarities of the content of a number of essential microelements in the blood serum of clinically healthy residents of the industrial region compared to the results of studies conducted in the zone of ecological and hygienic optimum, with a reliably 1,2-1,3 times higher, according to average values, the content of chromium, the correspondence of the concentration of cobalt and zinc and the lower concentration of copper. The development of urological pathology is accompanied by the formation of a trace element imbalance, which is manifested by a significant increase in the concentration of copper by 1.4 times with a slight increase in the content of cobalt and chromium, a decrease in the concentration of zinc. We found correlation in 42% of correlation matrices with the presence of both a direct correlation between the content of Co and Zn, Co and Cr, Cr and Zn, which increased in urological pathology, and a negative one in the binary system Co-Cu in the control group in the absence of a significant dependence in patients with pyelonephritis. The coefficients of the ratio Co\/Cu and Cr\/Cu decreased by 20% in the group of urological patients compared to the control group, Co\/Zn increased by 33%, Cr\/Zn by 22%, Cu\/Zn by 51%, which indicates the development of microelement imbalance in blood serum in urological pathology.\nConclusions. Materials and methods: The study included 7526 emission sources of 37 different by economic activity industrial enterprises and vehicles (46 sections of roads and 14 intersections), located in different cities of Ukraine. Program complex ISC-AERMOD was implied in average 24-hour and annual pollutant concentrations calculations. Risk criteria assessment was completed according to approved U.S. EPA and WHO procedure of risk assessment.  Results: Levels of non-carcinogenic risk (HQ) have been calculated in assessing acute (at the level of average daily concentration; HQacute=1.1\u00f77.9) and chronic (at the level of average annual concentration; HQchrohic=1.1\u00f78.5) inhalation effects of priority chemicals of industrial enterprises and vehicles on the health of exposed population of studied cities. It was found that, according to the WHO recommendations, the calculated levels of non-carcinogenic risks (HQ = 3.0\u00f76.0; HQ\u22656) belonged to moderate and high levels of air pollution and could cause, respectively, weak and pronounced effects in vulnerable groups of the population (elderly people, pregnant women and children). The levels of total carcinogenic risk (ICRtotal) for exposed population have been assessed. It was determined that the possible social costs of the population in the form of additional probability of the development of tumors in the individual from the inhalation exposure of the studied groups of the industrial enterprises and vehicles could be from 9 cases per 10,000 population to 5 cases per 1,000 people. Research materials and methods. The object of our research was liquid radioactive waste stored in the sumps of one of the decontamination points for equipment and vehicles (PuSO) - the \"Dibrova\" facility. Modern research methods are applied - scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffractometry, laser sedimentography. The mass fraction of cesium, strontium, cobalt, and manganese was determined by the atomic absorption method using an AA-8500 atomic absorption spectrophotometer (Nippon Jarrell Ash Co Ltd, Japan). The results. The effectiveness of the proposed sorbents based on nickel-potassium ferrocyanide-modified iron oxide micro- and nanotubes and iron (III) hydroxide nanoparticles, the size of which is mainly 1-100 \u03bcm, is shown. The choice of decontamination algorithm depends on the composition of liquid radioactive waste to be cleaned. To increase the degree of strontium extraction while maintaining the high efficiency of cesium and transition metal extraction, it is advisable to apply preliminary plasma chemical treatment followed by the use of sorbents based on iron oxides\/hydroxides modified by ferrocyanides. Conclusions. To assess the water quality of the Dnieper River, an array of data from the State Agency of Water Resources \"Dnieper Basin Water Resources Management\" (2015\u20132017, 906 samples), the State Water Cadastre (2016), \"UNHC Ministry of Health\" on the state of water in Ukraine (1992\u20131994), \u201cNational Report on Drinking Water Quality and the State of Drinking Water Supply in Ukraine\u201d (2005\u20132016), Lithuanian Waste Management Regulation (2006), Council Directive 91\/271\/\u0404EC. Methods were used for data processing: analytical, statistical, correlation, mathematical modeling. Results and conclusions. A high content of phosphates and organic substances in the water of the Dnipro river in the spatial-and-temporal section is demonstrated, which indicates a natural and anthropogenic contamination and will lead to the potential problems with the contamination of tap drinking water made of the Dnipro water. It is proved that one of the priority tasks today should be to reduce the content of organic matter, phosphorus and nitrogen in surface waters, which can be achieved by establishing coastal strips and provided by law, as well as the use of modern technologies for industrial and domestic wastewater treatment, this requires regulation. Materials and methods. Sanitary and hygienic, bibliometric and analytical methods were used in the work. Review. In Ukraine, in connection with the ongoing full-scale war and in order to protect students, there was an urgent need to solve the issue of protecting students, teachers and employees of the general institution of secondary education during the educational process, especially in those located in territories close to territories with active hostilities. The first special underground institution of general secondary education was opened in the city of Kharkiv \u2013 a bunker-type school, which corresponds to the current comprehensive policy of the Ministry of Education and Culture \"School Offline\". This institution of general secondary education is located in an underground space at a depth of 6 m. It is designed for a simultaneous capacity of 600 students of grades 1-11 (or 900 students in two shifts).  The high cost of designing and building an underground institution of general secondary education limited its capacity, provision of a full set of functional groups of premises, including recreational, physical culture and sports, educational and production zones, provision of premises with natural lighting and insolation. For the implementation of this project, the architectural and planning and sanitary and hygienic standards have not been partially met, which may negatively affect the health of children and affect their quality of life in the future. In conditionally safe territories, it was proposed to arrange protected spaces in institutions of general secondary education, which also has a number of disadvantages and requires in-depth study. Conclusions. According to the results of the study of the international experience of extensive construction of underground institutions of general secondary education, none were found. However, the experience of building underground institutions of general secondary education with students staying during the school day is isolated, was carried out as an experiment and did not spread. The introduction of the latest constructive solutions (protected spaces) and the possibility of further expansion of the design and construction of underground institutions of general secondary education in Ukraine require careful study.
