SVDquartets species tree topology resolved relationships between the genera and within subsets of the <jats:italic>Xerochrysum<\/jats:italic> data. Results corroborated previous conclusions that <jats:italic>Coronidium<\/jats:italic> is non\u2010monophyletic as presently circumscribed and forms, in addition to the more distantly related <jats:italic>Coronidium scorpioides<\/jats:italic> group, three morphologically distinct clades. SVDquartets returned two clades in <jats:italic>Xerochrysum<\/jats:italic>, though species\u2010level relationships were unclear. Bayesian coalescent analysis using SNAPP produced tree topologies for the three clades of <jats:italic>Coronidium<\/jats:italic> with most species\u2010level relationships well resolved.
