However, the chemical interactions among multiple HMs have not been adequately considered when performing large\u2010scale soil HMs identification. Herein, a multitask deep learning framework is presented to rapidly evaluate manganese, chromium, and cobalt concentrations in European soils. The proposed method can evaluate HMs with increased accuracy, achieving an average coefficient of determination of 0.75. Elevated contamination has been predicted from 2009 to 2015, with the average soil concentrations for manganese, chromium, and cobalt increasing by 615, 14.66, and 9.02\u2009mg\/kg, respectively. Source appointment analysis reveals that manganese contamination is predominantly anthropogenic, while chromium and cobalt are driven by geological factors.
