They consist of an N\u2010order parallel coupled\u2010line bandpass section and a pair of M\u2010order shorted\u2010coupled lines in the bypasses for generating close\u2010to\u2010passband transmission zeros (TZs). The selectivity can be further enhanced with the increase of filter order. Furthermore, two pairs of balanced ports fed in reverse phase are integrated to provide inherent broadband common\u2010mode (CM) suppression. By incorporating a substrate\u2010integrated suspended line (SISL) structure, the balanced BPF features the first implementation of both single\u2010ended and balanced conversion structures in a SISL\u2013DSPSL hybrid configuration, enabling improved low\u2010loss and high\u2010Q performance. For demonstration, second\u2010order single\u2010ended, third\u2010order single\u2010ended, and SISL\u2010balanced prototypes are fabricated and measured. The balanced filter structure achieves a selectivity of 377.7\u2009dB\/GHz with 20.9\u2010dB CM suppression; the measured results of these filters are in good agreement with the simulated ones. Compared with conventional filters, the proposed balanced BPF achieves ultrahigh selectivity, high CM suppression, and low\u2010loss\/high\u2010Q
