In the presence of complement, alloantisera directed against the transplanted bone marrow killed more than 95% of the lymphoid cells of such chimeras. Moreover, lymph node cell suspensions and lymphoid tissue sections of neonatally thymectomized or adult thymectomized, irradiated and marrow\u2010grafted mice contained an increased proportion of CRL.
