Extending earlier findings demonstrating that antibody does not inhibit (1) the priming of T cells (as opposed to B cells) and (2) the production of antibody by antigen\u2010sensitive B cells, we show here that antibody (endogenous as well as exogenous) does not affect the potential of primed T cells to perform a helper function either. It appears that antibody interferes with the realization of this potential, <jats:italic>i. e.<\/jats:italic> the cooperation of T and B cells.
