For this purpose, the B\u2010LT generates an additional pseudo noise (PN\u2010)signal which is reflected at the passive B\u2010NT1 and analysed by a correlation method in the B\u2010LT. The alarm flow between B\u2010LT and the B\u2010NT2 remains unchanged by introducing a new reflection alarm REFL in the B\u2010LT which is based on the evaluation of the correlation signal and describes the condition of the <jats:italic>U<jats:sub>B<\/jats:sub><\/jats:italic> interface.
