The main difference from state\u2010of\u2010the\u2010art approaches lies in the use of a 3D spatio\u2010temporal interpolation; it is based on a non\u2010uniform sampling where frames are processed as 3D blocks, so achieving an adaptive allocation for the information to be transmitted. Residuals are then compressed through a transform coder.
