Results depict that reliable transmission over 100\u2009m fiber and 100\u2009m FSO links can be achieved at 160\u2009Gbps data rate considering 1\u20137.5\u2009dB insertion loss, free\u2010space weather, and turbulence. Also, the spatial shift of 12\u2009\u03bcm and spatial tilt of 10\u00b0 can be supported with low modal crosstalk. Compared to existing works, this work provides long\u2010reach and high\u2010speed communication for 5G based
