The scale is specifically contextualised for female university students in Saudi Arabia and is intended to provide evidence regarding its structural validity, psychometric functioning, and predictive importance.<\/jats:p>\n                  <\/jats:sec>\n                  <jats:sec>\n                    <jats:title>Methods<\/jats:title>\n                    <jats:p>\n                      This exploratory mixed\u2010methods study was conducted in 2025 in Saudi Arabia. The initial items were developed through a systematic literature review and semi\u2010structured interviews. Quantitative data were collected from 888 female students across multiple disciplines using stratified random sampling. Psychometric analyses included Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), Exploratory Graph Analysis (EGA), and Random Forest Modelling (RFM). Reliability was evaluated using Cronbach's alpha (\n                      <jats:italic>\u03b1<\/jats:italic>\n                      ) and McDonald's omega (\n                      <jats:italic>\u03c9<\/jats:italic>\n                      ), while test\u2013retest reliability was assessed using the Intraclass Correlation Coefficient (ICC) over a 2\u2010week interval. Measurement invariance was examined across academic semester levels.\n                    <\/jats:p>\n                  <\/jats:sec>\n                  <jats:sec>\n                    <jats:title>Results and Conclusions<\/jats:title>\n                    <jats:p>\n                      EFA identified five key factors\u2014Future Goal Clarification, Strategic Future Planning, Adaptive Future Reappraisal, Reflective Anticipation, and Temporal Monitoring of Progress\u2014that together explained 67.10% of the total variance. CFA results demonstrated acceptable fit indices (CFI &gt;\u20090.91, RMSEA\u2009=\u20090.073). Reliability indicators showed strong internal consistency (\n                      <jats:italic>\u03b1<\/jats:italic>\n                      and\n                      <jats:italic>\u03c9<\/jats:italic>\n                      \u2009&gt;\u20090.80), and ICC values (0.89\u20130.95) indicated high test\u2013retest stability. EGA confirmed the robustness of the five\u2010factor structure, and Random Forest Modelling revealed that Future Goal Clarification had the highest predictive importance for overall MSRFT levels. Measurement invariance testing confirmed the scale's structural stability across academic subgroups.
