(b) Let<jats:italic>Q<\/jats:italic>* be the relational class determined by<jats:italic>Q<\/jats:italic>. If any universal Horn class between the universal closure<jats:italic>S<\/jats:italic>(<jats:italic>Q<\/jats:italic>*) and the weak embedding closure<jats:italic>S\u0304<\/jats:italic>(<jats:italic>Q<\/jats:italic>*) of<jats:italic>Q<\/jats:italic>* is finitely axiomatizable then the uniform word problem for<jats:italic>Q<\/jats:italic>is solvable in polynomial time.
