Traditional approaches such as index, thesaurus, and classification have historically dominated information representation and organization; however, they have some limitations. Ontology\u2010driven knowledge organization [An ontology\u2010driven knowledge organization approach] is considered one of keys to the next generation of knowledge management applications because ontology provides structure and meaning to data.
