Tech."],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2017,1]]},"abstract":"<jats:title>ABSTRACT<\/jats:title><jats:p>This visual presentation introduces Collective Action Framing Episodes (CAFEs), a method that addresses the need for a relational approach to study groups, society and ICTs. This method also speaks to the need for a visual tool to make sense of theories, constructs and data, build narratives and construct theories. This tool is based on social movement theories like the Contentious Politics Model by McAdam, D. et al., (1996) and on Benford and Snow's (2000) framing processes theory. The presentation first shows an animated illustration of the theoretical framework coming together in a multi\u2010level unit of analysis.
