Tech."],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2017,1]]},"abstract":"<jats:title>ABSTRACT<\/jats:title><jats:p>Decision support system data dashboards (DSS\u2010DD) are starting to be developed for higher education decision\u2010making. However, there is little research concerning their impact and use. To understand the decision\u2010making practices of DSS\u2010DD users, this poster presents preliminary findings of a study of these systems in a large U.S. Midwestern higher education institution. We draw on the socio\u2010technical interaction network analytic strategy and sociomateriality to examine expected and actual user decision\u2010making practices when using these dashboards.
