Tech."],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2017,1]]},"abstract":"<jats:title>ABSTRACT<\/jats:title><jats:p>This research studies the e\u2010book product selection practices in academic libraries by conducting one\u2010on\u2010one interviews of 20 selection librarians from 19 different institutions. Findings show that price and content are the two prevalent selection criteria used by my participants, and the factors affecting librarians' identification of selection criteria can be categorized as internal factors and external factors. I then examine the processes librarians use to select e\u2010book products and find several steps that are commonly used by my participants.
