The network is divided into two types of subnetworks connected by special units called short\u2010term memory units. The short\u2010term memory unit holds its state for a certain period of time. The effectiveness of these developments was verified by applying them to the control of a mobile robot equipped with many sensors. Neurocomputers, which are based on the brain, are flexible information processors composed of a network of many interconnected neuron\u2010like elements (neurons or units), and are capable of advanced parallel distributed processing and learning. This paper describes first a multilayered neural network model based on the layered structure of the brain and the principle of its operation. Then a fast learning algorithm called pseudoimpedance control is proposed.
