However, there are technical difficulties involved in measurement of the gap junctional conductance from membrane potential of horizontal cells using the ionic current model. To evaluate the proposed method, the gap junctional conductance was estimated from test data generated by the horizontal cell layer model. Conductance can be estimated with high accuracy.
