In the experiment, the dorsal light tilt reaction (DLTR) of carp was observed and the corresponding cerebellar EEG was recorded. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of change in gravitational environment on the EEG by means of spectrum analysis. In order to make a reliable conclusion, a procedure was established which consists of preprocessing, spectrum estimation and evaluation of the spectrum based on statistics. By applying this procedure, both the effects due to change in gravitational environment and the adaptation of the carp to the weightlessness environment in terms of differences in EEG spectrum are revealed.
