It is therefore possible for some of its new features to be investigated and the type of programming that can be expected when implementations appear to be explored. This paper looks at the scope provided by the proposed new features for 'semantic extension' of the language. The capability is illustrated by way of example code which could provide an extended\u2010precision numeric facility if implemented.
