The faculty <jats:styled-content style=\"fixed-case\">CBE<\/jats:styled-content> training course outlines the standards, expectations, and best practices with real\u2010world examples and hands\u2010on activities.<\/jats:p><\/jats:sec><jats:sec><jats:title>Methods<\/jats:title><jats:p>A team\u2010based approach was used with regard to the design and development of the training course. Authors of this article were members of that design and development team.<\/jats:p><\/jats:sec><jats:sec><jats:title>Results<\/jats:title><jats:p>Although development was ultimately successful, initial trial and error led to many challenges and lessons learned which are highlighted in the article as recommendations to educators transitioning to a <jats:styled-content style=\"fixed-case\">CBE<\/jats:styled-content> model.
