This study aims to evaluate the change in health\u2010related quality of life (HRQoL), anxiety, and sleep quality in autistic individuals prescribed cannabis\u2010based medicinal products (CBMPs).<\/jats:p>\n                  <\/jats:sec>\n                  <jats:sec>\n                    <jats:title>Method<\/jats:title>\n                    <jats:p>\n                      This observational case series analyzed data from the UK Medical Cannabis Registry on autistic adults treated with CBMPs. Demographic and clinical data were collected at baseline, with patient\u2010reported outcome measures assessed up to 18\u2009months. Primary outcomes included changes in anxiety (GAD\u20107), sleep quality (SQS), and HRQoL (EQ\u20105D\u20105L). Secondary outcomes included the incidence of adverse events. Statistical significance was indicated by\n                      <jats:italic>p<\/jats:italic>\n                      \u2009&lt;\u20090.050.\n                    <\/jats:p>\n                  <\/jats:sec>\n                  <jats:sec>\n                    <jats:title>Results<\/jats:title>\n                    <jats:p>\n                      One\u2010hundred and thirty individuals met the inclusion criteria. GAD\u20107 (\n                      <jats:italic>p<\/jats:italic>\n                      \u2009&lt;\u20090.001) and SQS (\n                      <jats:italic>p<\/jats:italic>\n                      \u2009&lt;\u20090.001) scores improved from baseline to 18\u2009months. EQ\u20105D\u20105L index values showed improvement from baseline (0.43\u2009\u00b1\u20090.30) to 18\u2009months (0.51\u2009\u00b1\u20090.32,\n                      <jats:italic>p<\/jats:italic>\n                      \u2009&lt;\u20090.001), and PGIC scores increased from 1 month (5.43\u2009\u00b1\u20091.49) to 18\u2009months (5.65\u2009\u00b1\u20091.32,\n                      <jats:italic>p<\/jats:italic>\n                      \u2009=\u20090.013). Twenty\u2010five participants (19.23%) reported a total of 232 (178.46%) adverse events, with most being mild (\n                      <jats:italic>n<\/jats:italic>\n                      \u2009=\u200988; 67.69%) or moderate (\n                      <jats:italic>n<\/jats:italic>\n                      \u2009=\u200999; 76.15%).\n                    <\/jats:p>\n                  <\/jats:sec>\n                  <jats:sec>\n                    <jats:title>Conclusion<\/jats:title>\n                    <jats:p>Treatment with CBMPs was associated with improvements in HRQoL, anxiety, and sleep outcomes in autistic patients over an 18\u2010month period. Given the absence of a control group, these findings represent associations rather than proven treatment effects. Further high\u2010quality randomized controlled trials are needed to confirm the long\u2010term efficacy and safety of CBMPs in ASD.<\/jats:p>\n
