Aerobic, oxidase\u2010negative, and catalase\u2010positive. Chemo\u2010organotrophic. Mesophilic. The cell\u2010wall peptidoglycan is of the\n                      <jats:bold>B\u2010type containing ornithine<\/jats:bold>\n                      as the diagnostic amino acid. Fatty acids are predominantly isoand anteiso\u2010branched, namely C\n                      <jats:sub>15:0<\/jats:sub>\n                      anteiso, C\n                      <jats:sub>16:0<\/jats:sub>\n                      iso, and C\n                      <jats:sub>17:0<\/jats:sub>\n                      anteiso. Mycolic acids are not present.
