Herein, magnetoresponsive poly(<jats:italic>\u03b5<\/jats:italic>\u2010caprolactone) (PCL) inks containing up to 10\u00a0wt% of iron\u2010oxide (Fe<jats:sub>3<\/jats:sub>O<jats:sub>4<\/jats:sub>) nanoparticles are used to produce fiber with\u00a0diameters of 9.2\u00a0\u00b1\u00a00.6\u00a0\u00b5m in ordered microstructures when processed by MEW. Introducing the Fe<jats:sub>3<\/jats:sub>O<jats:sub>4<\/jats:sub> nanoparticles has a minimal overall effect on printing quality compared to pure PCL under similar conditions. The magnetic response of Fe<jats:sub>3<\/jats:sub>O<jats:sub>4<\/jats:sub> containing fibers allows magnetic actuation, which is one of the first steps to control movement in such structures. Printed samples show different magnetic responses that can be controlled by the micro\u2010 and macro\u2010structure design, the nanoparticle concentration, and multi\u2010material design.
