The catalytic performance of these solids was compared for the enantioselective Diels\u2013Alder reaction between <jats:italic>N<\/jats:italic>\u2010acryloyloxazolidinone and cyclopentadiene and the Mukaiyama\u2010aldol reaction between methyl pyruvate and 1\u2010methoxy\u20101\u2010trimethylsilyloxypropene.
