Laser spectroscopy of two 2S\u20102P transitions in \u03bcp was used to determine both the Lamb shift and the hyperfine splitting of the 2S state in \u03bcp. The rms charge radius of the proton, <jats:inline-graphic xmlns:xlink=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1999\/xlink\" xlink:href=\"graphic\/andp201300058-math-0001.png\" xlink:title=\"urn:x-wiley:00033804:andp201300058:equation:andp201300058-math-0001\" \/> fm, was extracted from the Lamb shift. The Zemach radius of the proton, <jats:inline-graphic xmlns:xlink=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1999\/xlink\" xlink:href=\"graphic\/andp201300058-math-0002.png\" xlink:title=\"urn:x-wiley:00033804:andp201300058:equation:andp201300058-math-0002\" \/> fm, was obtained from the 2S\u2010hyperfine splitting.
