A family of dimers consisting of nitrogen\u2010doped pyrene\u2010fused acenes that undergo singlet fission with triplet quantum yields as high as 125\u2009% are presented. They provide new perspectives for nitrogenated polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and for the design of new materials for singlet
