A TpBpy\u2010COF\u2014prepared from 1,3,5\u2010triformylphloroglucinol (Tp) and 2,2\u2032\u2010bipyridine\u20105,5\u2032\u2010diamine (Bpy) grafted with Eu\/Tb and Dy acetylacetone (acac) complexes can be successfully used as a luminescent thermometer in the 10\u2013360\u2005K (Eu) and 280\u2013440\u2005K (Tb) ranges with good sensing properties (thermal sensitivity up to 1.403\u2009%\u2009K<jats:sup>\u22121<\/jats:sup>, temperature uncertainty \u03b4<jats:italic>T<\/jats:italic>&lt;1\u2005K above 110\u2005K). For the Eu\/Tb systems, we observe an unusual and rarely reported behavior, that is, no thermal quenching of the Tb<jats:sup>3+<\/jats:sup> emission, a result of the absence of ion\u2010to\u2010ligand\/host energy back\u2010transfer.
