Heutzutage ist Stahlbeton das am meisten eingesetzte Material im Bauwesen. Durch den Einsatz von Systemschalungen und einfach zu verlegenden Fl\u00e4chenbewehrungen werden Baukonstruktionen gef\u00f6rdert, die in Bezug auf Lohnkosten optimiert sind, aber oftmals eine ineffiziente Materialausnutzung aufweisen. Stefan Pol\u00f3nyi hat in diesem Zusammenhang immer wieder das mangelnde Verst\u00e4ndnis der Ingenieure f\u00fcr das Zusammenwirken von Beton und Bewehrung kritisiert. Mit dem Beton\u20103D\u2010Druck steht eine digitale Fertigungstechnologie bereit, die eine neue Gestaltungsfreiheit im Betonbau erm\u00f6glicht bei gleichzeitig ressourceneffizientem Materialeinsatz. F\u00fcr die Integration der Bewehrung besteht die Chance f\u00fcr eine kraftflussgesteuerte F\u00fchrung in den zugbeanspruchten Bereichen.
