The highest ever reported CO<jats:sub>2<\/jats:sub> adsorption capacity (1.13\u2009mol\u2009kg<jats:sup>\u20131<\/jats:sup>) was obtained at 656\u2009K with <jats:italic>p<\/jats:italic><jats:inline-graphic xmlns:xlink=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1999\/xlink\" xlink:href=\"graphic\/tex2gif-inf-3.gif\" xlink:title=\"urn:x-wiley:09307516:media:CEAT201200694:tex2gif-inf-3\"\/>\u2009=\u20090.5\u2009bar at humid conditions. A mathematical model was developed and it satisfactorily simulated the adsorption and desorption processes. The stability of the material was tested with repeated adsorption\/desorption cycles; the CO<jats:sub>2<\/jats:sub> adsorption capacity decreased around 7\u2009% after ten cycles.
