Measurements of the HER by linear scan voltammetry allowed us to determine Tafel slopes of 71 and 74\u2005mV\u2009dec<jats:sup>\u22121<\/jats:sup> at 25\u2009\u00b0C for Mo<jats:sub>2<\/jats:sub>C\/CNT and Mo<jats:sub>2<\/jats:sub>C\/CXG, respectively. Stability tests were also performed, which showed the steady performance of the two electrocatalysts. Moreover, the HER kinetics at Mo<jats:sub>2<\/jats:sub>C\/CNT was enhanced significantly after the long\u2010term stability tests.
