The aim of the present work was to find a compromise between the phase stability and electrical performance by designing solid solutions in the SrVO<jats:sub>3<\/jats:sub>\u2013SrTiO<jats:sub>3<\/jats:sub> system. Increasing titanium content in SrV<jats:sub>1\u2212<jats:italic>y<\/jats:italic><\/jats:sub>Ti<jats:sub><jats:italic>y<\/jats:italic><\/jats:sub>O<jats:sub>3\u2212<jats:italic>\u03b4<\/jats:italic><\/jats:sub> (<jats:italic>y<\/jats:italic>=0\u20130.9) perovskites is demonstrated to result in a gradual shift of the upper\u2010<jats:italic>p<\/jats:italic>(O<jats:sub>2<\/jats:sub>) phase stability boundary toward oxidizing conditions: from \u224810<jats:sup>\u221215<\/jats:sup>\u2005bar at 900\u2009\u00b0C for undoped SrVO<jats:sub>3\u2212<jats:italic>\u03b4<\/jats:italic><\/jats:sub> to \u224810<jats:sup>\u221211<\/jats:sup>\u201310<jats:sup>\u22125<\/jats:sup>\u2005bar for <jats:italic>y=<\/jats:italic>0.3\u20130.5. Although the improvement in the phase stability is accompanied by a decrease in electrical conductivity, the conductivities of SrV<jats:sub>0.7<\/jats:sub>Ti<jats:sub>0.3<\/jats:sub>O<jats:sub>3\u2212<jats:italic>\u03b4<\/jats:italic><\/jats:sub> and SrV<jats:sub>0.5<\/jats:sub>Ti<jats:sub>0.5<\/jats:sub>O<jats:sub>3\u2212<jats:italic>\u03b4<\/jats:italic><\/jats:sub> at 900\u2009\u00b0C remain as high as 80 and 20\u2005S\u2009cm<jats:sup>\u22121<\/jats:sup>, respectively, and is essentially independent of <jats:italic>p<\/jats:italic>(O<jats:sub>2<\/jats:sub>) within the phase\u2010stability domain. Combined XRD, thermogravimetric analysis, and electrical studies revealed very sluggish kinetics of oxidation of SrV<jats:sub>0.5<\/jats:sub>Ti<jats:sub>0.5<\/jats:sub>O<jats:sub>3\u2212<jats:italic>\u03b4<\/jats:italic><\/jats:sub> ceramics under inert gas conditions and a nearly reversible behavior after exposure to an inert atmosphere at elevated temperatures. Substitution by titanium in the SrV<jats:sub>1\u2212<jats:italic>y<\/jats:italic><\/jats:sub>Ti<jats:sub><jats:italic>y<\/jats:italic><\/jats:sub>O<jats:sub>3\u2212<jats:italic>\u03b4<\/jats:italic><\/jats:sub> system results also in a decrease of oxygen deficiency in perovskite lattice and a favorable suppression of thermochemical expansion. Variations of oxygen nonstoichiometry and electrical properties in the SrV<jats:sub>1\u2212<jats:italic>y<\/jats:italic><\/jats:sub>Ti<jats:sub><jats:italic>y<\/jats:italic><\/jats:sub>O<jats:sub>3\u2212<jats:italic>\u03b4<\/jats:italic><\/jats:sub> series are discussed in combination with the simulated defect chemistry of solid
