These mAb strongly inhibited DNA synthesis in IL\u20102\u2010dependent \u03b3\u03b4 T cell lines with cell cycle arrest in G0\/G1 phase, but did not induce apoptosis. The mAb\u2010induced growth arrest was reversible, either by removing the mAb or by co\u2010culture with mitogen or anti\u2010CD3 in the presence of IL\u20102. In contrast, addition of phorbol ester, ionomycin and IL\u20102 had no effect on the mAb\u2010induced growth arrest.
