The reaction time could be drastically reduced, to 15\u201330 min, when the system was additionally irradiated with microwaves (100 W, about 60 \u00b0C). Compounds <jats:bold>1<\/jats:bold>\u2013<jats:bold>6<\/jats:bold> can also be obtained without isolation of the intermediate oxime complexes either by refluxing for 8\u201315 h or by microwave irradiation (100 W, about 60 \u00b0C) for 15\u201330 min. The formulation of <jats:bold>1<\/jats:bold>\u2013<jats:bold>6<\/jats:bold> is based upon satisfactory C, H, and N elemental analyses, FAB mass spectrometry, and IR, <jats:sup>1<\/jats:sup>H and <jats:sup>13<\/jats:sup>C{<jats:sup>1<\/jats:sup>H} NMR spectroscopy, while the structures of <jats:bold>1\u00b7<\/jats:bold>(Me<jats:sub>2<\/jats:sub>CO), <jats:bold>1\u00b7<\/jats:bold>(CHCl<jats:sub>3<\/jats:sub>), <jats:bold>2\u00b7<\/jats:bold>(H<jats:sub>2<\/jats:sub>O), and <jats:bold>6\u00b7<\/jats:bold>\u00bd(H<jats:sub>2<\/jats:sub>O) were determined by X\u2010ray single\u2010crystal diffraction.
