On the strength of these results, the reaction was also performed with 2\u2010bromo\u20102\u2010nitropropanes to afford 2,2\u2010dialkyl\u20102\u2010nitroamines. Moreover, the indium\u2010mediated reaction of 1\u2010bromo\u20101\u2010nitroethane and imines afforded 1\u2010methyl\u20102\u2010nitroamines with remarkably high <jats:italic>anti<\/jats:italic> selectivity.
