Nitrosoalkenes reacted with furan derivatives to form 4a,7a\u2010dihydro\u20104\n                    <jats:italic>H<\/jats:italic>\n                    \u2010furo[2,3\u2010\n                    <jats:italic>e<\/jats:italic>\n                    ][1,2]oxazines, which underwent DBU\u2010promoted rearrangements to 6\n                    <jats:italic>H<\/jats:italic>\n                    \u20101,2\u2010oxazines and 2\u2010acetylpyridines. Subsequent DABCO\u2010mediated reaction of 6\n                    <jats:italic>H<\/jats:italic>\n                    \u20101,2\u2010oxazines with allenoates afforded conjugated polyenes and dihydropyrans with excellent regio\u2010 and stereoselectivity.
