{"status":"ok","message-type":"work","message-version":"1.0.0","message":{"indexed":{"date-parts":[[2025,10,16]],"date-time":"2025-10-16T00:29:32Z","timestamp":1760574572265,"version":"build-2065373602"},"reference-count":32,"publisher":"Wiley","issue":"2","license":[{"start":{"date-parts":[[2005,4,26]],"date-time":"2005-04-26T00:00:00Z","timestamp":1114473600000},"content-version":"vor","delay-in-days":3372,"URL":"http:\/\/onlinelibrary.wiley.com\/termsAndConditions#vor"}],"content-domain":{"domain":["analyticalsciencejournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com"],"crossmark-restriction":true},"short-container-title":["Electroanalysis"],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[1996,2]]},"abstract":"<jats:title>Abstract<\/jats:title><jats:p>Complexation reactions of lead by glutamic acid in KNO<jats:sub>3<\/jats:sub> 0.1 M and cadmium by glycine at two ionic strengths (0.1 MKNO<jats:sub>3<\/jats:sub> and 2 \u00d7 10<jats:sup>\u22123<\/jats:sup> M borate buffer) have been used to : 1) compare the stripping response in DCASV (direct current anodic stripping voltammetry) and DPASV (differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetry) at large (hanging mercury drop electrode: HMDE) and small (thin film mercury microelectrode deposited on Pt\/lr: \u03bcME) electrodes, 2) test classical DeFord\u2010Hume's method with microelectrodes coupled to DCASV and DPASV, and 3) analyze the suitability of both electrodes HMDE and \u03bcME coupled to anodic stripping voltammetry to measurements in freshwaters. Indeed due to the mass transport characteristics at microelectrodes, the fraction of a metal which contributes to the current may well be different from that at a conventional size electrode.
