Electrochemical impedance spectra in the presence of Tl(I) showed differences between the electrode substrates. The sensitivity to Tl does not depend on the presence of other ions, and was better at carbon film electrodes, although the 2\u2005nmol\u2009L\n                    <jats:sup>\u22121<\/jats:sup>\n                    detection limit was independent of electrode substrate.
