Nafion\u2010modified GCE gave the highest sensitivity and lowest detection limit (0.4\u2005\u00b5mol\u2009L<jats:sup>\u22121<\/jats:sup>) for differential pulse voltammetric determination of 1\u2010AN. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy gave information about the processes at the electrode surface.
