The daptomycin redox behaviour, by cyclic, differential pulse and square wave voltammetry, in a wide pH range, at a glassy carbon electrode, was investigated. The daptomycin oxidation was a two\u2010step irreversible diffusion\u2010controlled process and the diffusion coefficient D<jats:sub>DPT<\/jats:sub>\u00a0=\u00a02.32\u00a0\u00d7\u00a010<jats:sup>\u22125<\/jats:sup>\u00a0cm<jats:sup>2<\/jats:sup>\u00a0s<jats:sup>\u22121<\/jats:sup>, was calculated. A detection limit LOD\u00a0=\u00a00.32\u00a0\u03bcM, was obtained.
