Thermal inactivation of laccase was characterized in the presence of these both <jats:styled-content style=\"fixed-case\">IL<\/jats:styled-content>s and as expected first\u2010order kinetics was followed. Inactivation rate constant (<jats:italic>k<\/jats:italic>), half\u2010life time (<jats:italic>t<\/jats:italic><jats:sub>1\/2<\/jats:sub>), and energy of activation (<jats:italic>Ea<\/jats:italic>) were determined. Kinetics of 2,2\u2032\u2010azino\u2010bis(3\u2010ethylbenzthiazoline\u20106\u2010sulfonic acid) oxidation by laccase in the presence of these <jats:styled-content style=\"fixed-case\">IL<\/jats:styled-content>s was studied and <jats:styled-content style=\"fixed-case\">M<\/jats:styled-content>ichaelis\u2013<jats:styled-content style=\"fixed-case\">M<\/jats:styled-content>enten parameters were calculated.
