Forty\u2010eight components of the oil were identified with certainty; they represented 96% of the oil which contained mainly monoterpenes; \u03b2\u2010pinene (35%), sabinene (24%) and \u03b1\u2010pinene (21%) being the major constituents. Sesquiterpenes, which were all found in a concentration lower than 1%, constituted 6.5% of the oil; the oxygen\u2010containing components of these, all alcohols, amounted to 4.8%.
