Both studied systems, <jats:bold>PURE<jats:sub>G1<\/jats:sub>\u2010PER<jats:sub>6<\/jats:sub><\/jats:bold> and <jats:bold>PURE<jats:sub>G4<\/jats:sub>\u2010PER<jats:sub>48<\/jats:sub><\/jats:bold>, present high sensitivity (detection limits between 5 \u00d7 10<jats:sup>\u22126<\/jats:sup> and 20 \u00d7 10<jats:sup>\u22126<\/jats:sup><jats:sc>m<\/jats:sc>) and selectivity for 2,4,6\u2010trinitrotoluene (TNT) collected from a powdered military grenade and picric acid. The selectivity is highly dependent on the dendrimer generation.
