The secondary radiation cross\u2010section is calculated as a function of the incident and emitted light frequencies \u03c9<jats:sub>1<\/jats:sub> and \u03c9<jats:sub>s<\/jats:sub>, the magnetic field <jats:italic>H<\/jats:italic> and the direction of the emitted light. It is shown that for arbitrarily high magnetic fields, the appearance of sharp peaks in the cross\u2010section as a function of \u03c9<jats:sub>1<\/jats:sub> and \u03c9<jats:sub>s<\/jats:sub> is due to electron and hole transitions into states <jats:italic>k<\/jats:italic><jats:sub><jats:italic>z<\/jats:italic><\/jats:sub> = 0, <jats:italic>k<\/jats:italic><jats:sub><jats:italic>z<\/jats:italic><\/jats:sub> being the projection of the electron or hole wave vector on the direction of <jats:bold><jats:italic>H<\/jats:italic><\/jats:bold>. Sharp maxima are also found at the cyclotron frequencies of electrons and holes.
