It requires meticulous control over the morphology of nano\u2010objects and the precise spatial arrangement of the heater and the local temperature probe, both of which are critical for accurate surface temperature readouts. In this work, real\u2010time nanoscale temperature measurements are presented during the nanoparticle\u2010assisted photothermal heating by using new nano\u2010objects consisting of single iron oxide nanoparticles encased in stellate\u2010like silica shells, loaded with a luminescent coordination compound, namely [(Tb\/Eu)\n                    <jats:sub>9<\/jats:sub>\n                    (acac)\n                    <jats:sub>16<\/jats:sub>\n                    (\u03bc\n                    <jats:sub>3<\/jats:sub>\n                    \u2010OH)\n                    <jats:sub>8<\/jats:sub>\n                    (\u03bc\n                    <jats:sub>4<\/jats:sub>\n                    \u2010O)(\u03bc\n                    <jats:sub>4<\/jats:sub>\n                    \u2010OH)]. These multifunctional nano\u2010objects act as efficient light\u2010triggered nano\u2010heaters and as ratiometric luminescent thermometers operating between 20\u201365\u00a0\u00b0C in water with excellent cyclability and good maximum relative thermal sensitivity of 0.75\u00a0\u00b1\u00a00.02%\u00a0\u00b0C\n                    <jats:sup>\u22121<\/jats:sup>\n                    at 65\u00a0\u00b0C and thermal uncertainty of 1\u00a0\u00b0C.
