{"status":"ok","message-type":"work","message-version":"1.0.0","message":{"indexed":{"date-parts":[[2026,4,3]],"date-time":"2026-04-03T16:28:33Z","timestamp":1775233713149,"version":"3.50.1"},"reference-count":59,"publisher":"Wiley","issue":"13-14","license":[{"start":{"date-parts":[[2009,4,9]],"date-time":"2009-04-09T00:00:00Z","timestamp":1239235200000},"content-version":"vor","delay-in-days":0,"URL":"http:\/\/onlinelibrary.wiley.com\/termsAndConditions#vor"}],"content-domain":{"domain":["onlinelibrary.wiley.com"],"crossmark-restriction":true},"short-container-title":["Zeitschrift anorg allge chemie"],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2009,11]]},"abstract":"<jats:title>Abstract<\/jats:title><jats:p>This article discusses synthesis of two heterometallic complexes [Cu(phen)<jats:sub>2<\/jats:sub>Fe(CN)<jats:sub>5<\/jats:sub>(NO)]<jats:bold>\u00b7<\/jats:bold>2H<jats:sub>2<\/jats:sub>O (<jats:bold>1<\/jats:bold>) and [Cu(phen)<jats:sub>3<\/jats:sub>][Fe(CN)<jats:sub>5<\/jats:sub>(NO)]<jats:bold>\u00b7<\/jats:bold>2H<jats:sub>2<\/jats:sub>O (<jats:bold>2<\/jats:bold>) prepared from zerovalent copper, sodium nitroprusside (SNP), ammonium thiocyanate in dimethylformamide (DMF) solution of 1,10\u2010phenanthroline (phen). Single crystal X\u2010ray analysis revealed that compound <jats:bold>1<\/jats:bold> has a molecular structure with [Cu(phen)<jats:sub>2<\/jats:sub>]<jats:sup>2+<\/jats:sup> and [Fe(CN)<jats:sub>5<\/jats:sub>NO]<jats:sup>2\u2013<\/jats:sup> blocks joined through a bridging CN group of nitroprusside whereas compound <jats:bold>2<\/jats:bold> consists of a separate [Cu(phen)<jats:sub>3<\/jats:sub>]<jats:sup>2+<\/jats:sup> cation and [Fe(CN)<jats:sub>5<\/jats:sub>NO]<jats:sup>2\u2013<\/jats:sup> anion. The magnetic behaviour of compound <jats:bold>1<\/jats:bold> is paramagnetic.
