The developed method can, therefore, predict docking outcome for yet unprocessed molecular entries and hence to progressively remove unfavorable chemical structures from the remaining docking base. This approach provides 50\u2013100X speed increase for the standard docking procedures while retaining >90% of qualified molecules. We demonstrate that the use of PD allows processing of about 360 million molecules just in 2 weeks using a standard 200 CPU setup.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.1007\/978-3-030-30493-5_66","type":"book-chapter","created":{"date-parts":[[2019,9,10]],"date-time":"2019-09-10T20:03:41Z","timestamp":1568145821000},"page":"737-740","update-policy":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1007\/springer_crossmark_policy","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":0,"title":["Progressive Docking - Deep Learning Based Approach for Accelerated Virtual Screening"],"prefix":"10.1007","author":[{"ORCID":"https:\/\/orcid.org\/0000-0001-9610-993X","authenticated-orcid":false,"given":"Vibudh","family":"Agrawal","sequence":"first","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"ORCID":"https:\/\/orcid.org\/0000-0001-8299-1976","authenticated-orcid":false,"given":"Francesco","family":"Gentile","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"ORCID":"https:\/\/orcid.org\/0000-0003-3437-7669","authenticated-orcid":false,"given":"Michael","family":"Hsing","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"ORCID":"https:\/\/orcid.org\/0000-0001-7950-433X","authenticated-orcid":false,"given":"Fuqiang","family":"Ban","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"ORCID":"https:\/\/orcid.org\/0000-0002-1599-1439","authenticated-orcid":false,"given":"Artem","family":"Cherkasov","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]}],"member":"297","published-online":{"date-parts":[[2019,9,9]]},"reference":[{"key":"66_CR1","doi-asserted-by":"publisher","first-page":"20","DOI":"10.1016\/j.jhealeco.2016.01.012","volume":"47","author":"JA DiMasi","year":"2016","unstructured":"DiMasi, J.A., Grabowski, H.G., Hansen, R.W.: Innovation in the pharmaceutical industry: new estimates of R&D costs.
