This chapter addresses the challenges and opportunities of Data Spaces identified by the Big Data Value Association community. It brings forward five independent goals, convergence, experimentation, standardization, deployment, and awareness, each targeted toward specific stakeholders in the data sharing ecosystem and presents a timeframe when the goals should take place.
