This paper examines the influence personality dimensions has on attitudes, adoption and use of various technologies. Basic Books, New York, 1969) 3)\n                    <jats:italic>Sensation Seeking<\/jats:italic>\n                    (Zuckerman in J Consult Clin Psychol 36(1):45\u201352, 1971; Zuckerman in Erlbaum Assoc, 1979) 4)\n                    <jats:italic>Need for closure<\/jats:italic>\n                    (Kruglanski et al. in J Pers Soc Psychol 65(5):861\u2013876, 1993; Kruglanski and Fisher in Handbook Ind diff Soci Behav 343:353, 2009); 5)\n                    <jats:italic>Need for cognition<\/jats:italic>\n                    (Cohen et al. in J Abnorm Soc Psychol 51(2):291\u2013294, 1955; Petty et al. in Handbook Ind Diff Soci Behav 318:329, 2009), and three technological domains: Information and Communication, transportation and Medical technologies.
