Within this framework, quantum errors are identified with processes that increase effective boundary complexity, and quantum error correction corresponds to active stabilization of boundary-supported structure mediated by classical control. The approach provides a consistent geometric interpretation of noise, stabilization, and the quantum\u2013classical transition within the standard quantum-mechanical formalism.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.1007\/s11128-026-05253-7","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2026,6,25]],"date-time":"2026-06-25T05:32:57Z","timestamp":1782365577000},"update-policy":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1007\/springer_crossmark_policy","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":0,"title":["Quantum computation as boundary stabilization in a mereotopological information model"],"prefix":"10.1007","volume":"25","author":[{"given":"Adam","family":"Szmigielski","sequence":"first","affiliation":[],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]}],"member":"297","published-online":{"date-parts":[[2026,6,25]]},"reference":[{"key":"5253_CR1","doi-asserted-by":"publisher","unstructured":"Aharonov, D., Ben-Or, M.: Fault-tolerant quantum computation with constant error.
