Comput."],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2025,8]]},"abstract":"<jats:title>Abstract<\/jats:title>\n          <jats:p>In this paper we study the convergence, stability and data independence of the <jats:inline-formula>\n              <jats:tex-math>$${S_n}$$<\/jats:tex-math>\n            <\/jats:inline-formula> iteration procedure in the <jats:italic>W<\/jats:italic>-hyperbolic setting, in connection to hyperbolic contractive mappings. Examples of hyperbolic contractions are provided, based on the convexity map. In particular, we associate the Poincar\u00e9 disk with the appropriate convexity map, for which we determine the specific formula. Finally, we numerically test the convergence of the orbits under the <jats:inline-formula>\n              <jats:tex-math>$${S_n}$$<\/jats:tex-math>\n            <\/jats:inline-formula> iteration procedure.
